AdSense Cost Per Click or also known as AdSense CPC is the amount of money you make each time a user clicks an AdSense ad on your website or blog. Some AdSense ads are high paying ads whereas some are low paying ads, depending on how much the advertisers are willing to spend.

Sometimes you make $10.00 per click, but most of the times you only get about $0.30 to $0.01 per click. If you can earn an average of $1.00 or even more per click, that will be awesome.

For example, if you get 10 clicks per day and you earn $1.00 for each click, then you will have $10.00 per day. On the other hand, if you get 10 clicks per day but you only earn $0.01 for each click, then you will only have $0.10 per day, which is very disappointing.

So, what can you do to increase your Google AdSense CPC? Well, you cannot  force advertisers to pay more if they are not willing to. But, due to competitions, some advertisers are willing to spend more to win over their competitors. What you can do is to help Google AdSense to display ads from these advertisers who are willing to pay more, on your website or blog. Here are the ways:

1. Select a Profitable Niche and High Paying Keywords

Choosing the right niche for your website or blog is of utmost importance. Some niches are more profitable than others. For example, insurance has a high CPC of $11.31, whereas games has a low CPC of $0.46 only. So, which one do you prefer?

Different keywords from the same niche vary in CPC too. For insurance niche, get car insurance quote online has a whooping high CPC of $71.93, whereas horace mann insurance has a low CPC of $0.56 only. For games niche, design game has a higher CPC of $2.24 compare to bing games which has a low CPC of $0.10 only.

How to Find High Paying Keywords using Google AdWords:

1. Go to Google AdWords
2. Click tools and analysis
3. Select keyword tool
4. Enter the keywords and click search

After finding your high paying keywords, you have to use these high CPC keywords in your post contents and spread them evenly. When Google's spiders crawl your post contents, they will detect these keywords and display relevant and high paying AdSense ads on your website or blog.

2. Use Less AdSense Ads per Page

Google AdSense allows you to have a maximum of three content units, three link units and two search units per page. So, are you going to make full use of it - use up all allowed AdSense ads?

If your post contents are long and rich with keywords, then three Adsense ads work pretty well on your website or blog. However, if your post contents are short and lack of keywords, Google AdSense will find it difficult to show relevant and high paying AdSense ads on your website or blog. Therefore, I recommend you to use less AdSense ads per page to indirectly force Google AdSense to display relevant AdSense ads with high CPC.

3. Block Low Paying AdSense Ads

Another way of increasing your AdSense CPC is to prevent low paying AdSense ads from showing up on your website or blog. By blocking AdSense ads with low CPC - ads with $0.01 per click, you will have more space for high paying AdSense ads to be displayed on your website or blog. But, keep in mind not to overdo it, to avoid displaying completely unrelated AdSense ads which can bring down your AdSense earning.

How to Block Low Paying AdSense Ads:

1. Go to Google AdSense
2. Click allow & block ads
3. Select advertiser URLs
3. Enter the URLs and click block URLs
