Clicking AdSense ads on your own website or blog is against Google AdSense TOS. By doing so, you are at risk of losing your AdSense account. But let us be frank, did you accidentally click AdSense ads on your own website or blog before?

For me, I did clicked on AdSense ads placed on my websites by mistakes few times, while doing some editing and customising work. Then, I was wondering whether Google AdSense would disable my account for accidental clicks, so I did some searches about it, and here is what I have found:

Accidents happen - taken from Inside AdSense Blog

"...we've received many emails from publishers letting us know that they've accidentally clicked on their own ads ...we do understand that an accidental click may occur from time to time, so there's no need to contact us each instance this occurs"

Sometimes, anyone, be it your friends, enemies or strangers can bombard your AdSense account with tons of clicks just to help you make money or terminate your account. If you notice an abnormal clicking activity such as a sudden sharp increase in your AdSense CTR, then you should report it to Google AdSense here.
